As orthoptic education evolves to meet the demands of a rapidly advancing healthcare landscape, the upcoming Zoran Georgievski Education Forum will focus on the theme Innovations in Orthoptic Education: Developing Skills for Real-World Impact. This forum taking place on June 26, 2025 will explore forward-thinking approaches to education that equip orthoptic students with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in diverse clinical environments.

This forum will bring together educators, clinicians, and researchers to discuss innovative teaching methodologies, curricular advancements, and practical training strategies that enhance student preparedness for real-world challenges. Scheduled to take place the day before the International Orthoptic Congress commences, the two-hour forum will be structured into two parts: the first half will feature invited speakers, and the second half will showcase free paper presentations, providing a platform to highlight a diverse range of educational perspectives from around the world.

To have a paper considered for the forum, abstracts must be submitted under the Education category. All papers identified as education-focused will be reviewed for inclusion in this dynamic program.
