Getting Started in Clinical Research

Join us for the first IOA Congress Research Workshop in Brisbane, on June 26, 2025. 

This 2-hour workshop is designed to offer early-career orthoptists, orthoptic students, and anyone interested in learning more about clinical research personalised assistance in designing, executing, and publishing a clinical research project. From generating a research question, to study design, to statistical analysis, and funding, all aspects of clinical research will be discussed by a group of very experienced orthoptist clinician-scientists and medical writers.

Participants will be sorted into groups of 10 to facilitate discussion and address individual needs. The workshop will be limited to 50 participants and requires a separate registration fee.
